Knut Haugen Nominated for Prestigious Music Award!
We are excited to share with you that composer Knut Avenstroup Haugen -- the ever so talented man responsible for the entire Age of Conan soundtrack -- has been nominated for Best Score in a Video Game at the prestigious Hollywood Music in Media Awards.
The nomination is for his latest work crafting the wonderful music heard in Dragon's Spine, the latest content update for Age of Conan: Unleashed. If you haven't yet experienced the music in game, we highly encourage you to sample some of it by having a look and a listen at the official trailer put together for the update.
“The HMMA is a very prestigious award and being nominated for one in the best score category is to be recognized at the highest level," says Knut Avenstroup Haugen. "Every year the the awards gathers the best game composers to celebrate their achievements and to be counted among such company is a great honor.”
Other nominees include Russel Bower and Derek Duke for their work on Star Craft II: Heart of the Swarm as well as Jeff Broadbent and his work on Planetside 2 among others.
