German game magazine GameStar has reviewed Age of Conan: Unchained, also to find out what the new hybrid buisness model offers. The rating received is an excellent 9 out of 10! The detail ratings are as follows:

"Age of Conan: Unchained is an MMO after my own taste with a raw, bloody world without elves and dwarves and including an item- and combatsystem in which my skill decides the outcome of my battles and not if I was able to do 15 hours of raiding on the weekend. That's also a reason why free-to-play players get the most out of this game because in that regard Premium players are not getting a huge advantage. An excellent game!"
