‘Age of Conan’ Movie Tie-in Adventure Pack now Live
‘Savage Coast of Turan’ brings new locations, monsters, weaponry, characters and storylines to ‘Age of Conan: Unchained’
Durham, USA – September 9th, 2011 – Funcom is excited to announce the release of ‘The Savage Coast of Turan’, a new and exciting Adventure Pack for ‘Age of Conan: Unchained’. Players will meet both characters and monsters from the recent Conan the Barbarian movie, and explore the epic locations and storyline around the Persian influenced areas of Ardashir in several new dungeons and world regions. Players can purchase access to the Adventure Pack through the in-game store available to both Premium members and free players.

In ‘The Savage Coast of Turan’, players are sent to the coastal city of Ardashir to unravel murderous plots and explore the surrounding areas and islands. As with most stories in the ‘Age of Conan’ universe, things are not always what they seem and players will face great dangers from enemies new and old. In addition to the adventure pack, the in-game store now offers several new packs, including the Jewel of Turan. Here players will find exclusive items such as the Camel mount and the fighting pet Sand Demon from the movie.
‘Age of Conan’ launched in 2008 to raving reviews and player acclaim. The game became the best-selling new MMO of the year as it topped the sales chart in over 17 different countries simultaneously, and the game recently hit the impressive milestone of over two million players having experienced the world of Hyboria.
